Hi Everyone. Here are the minutes from our meeting on Sunday, October 5, 2008


Moms, Daughters and HorsesMeeting Minutes

Old Business---------------------------------------------------------------

Going back to monthly meetings;first Sunday of each month, rotatingto Spokane area Round Table Pizzas 4-6 pm

Going back to Voluntary Dues
Dues are $10.00

Linda suggested members set up Blog accountsto link up to MDH's Blog

Ribbon Ride went well, members suggested planning another, perhaps an Easter Egg Hunt themed Ride

Tiki suggested planning it for Trail Town at Riverside,which will allow for more parking---------------------------------------------------------------

New Business---------------------------------------------------------------

Scholarships; We have one application in forthe 2 scholarships offered at $250 each

Another Horse has been added to our page of Adoption horses.

Alisa suggested doing a Papa Murphy's discount card fund raiser. Members suggested we purchase 30cards at $1.00 each and they will be sold for $5.00 each. Fund Raiser money will be put into the Emergency Fund

Katie and Linda suggested we do another Pampered Chef Fundraiser

Members would like to plan a Make Your Own Horse Treat dayin December for the Daughters

Another fundraiser activity was mentioned, having a Chili Feed again, planned for the second weekend of November--Fundraising will benefit the Scholarship and Activities Committee

The December Meeting was suggested to be our clubs Christmas

was suggested the club change the address on the website, as Charlene is still getting mail. It was decided that we'd use Sam's address. A member will look into the cost of a P.O. Box or a box at Mailboxes Etc for the club. If too costly, we'll remain using members private boxes.

Next Meeting will be the first Sunday of November, 2ndAt the South Hill, Round Table Pizza
